fun weekend...

friday:  chilaxed at home.....its always fun to chill and relax......

saturday:  my cousin had a big anniversary party for my aunt and uncle.....i thought that was nice.....really fun to be around my crazy relatives all at once...haha  seems like every family party we have now theres more and more little kids....damn i feel old!! not cool!!    my aunt and uncle got a plane ticket to LA as a present from all my relatives....i think they'll have fun when they decide on a date to go.......there was also TONS OF FOOD...so tasty....ate so much i couldn't move for awhile.....and that was only after dinner.....there was still cake, cheesecake, fruit etc etc  i had to eat that also.....it would be rude of me if i didn't eat a bit of everything hahaha

sunday:  went to london for the first time in my life......well actually second time...when i was a kid i went to london and lion danced for a chinese new year party with my older cousins and uncle.......however i don't remember much from back then......so basically this was first time i went that i remembered everything  haha   i have to say i had a fun time...even though theres not much to do in london...basically had breakfast/lunch, checked out western campus (pretty nice...thanks to my friend for the tour!), went grocery shopping, picked up a coffee (some type of coffee at starbucks which had a long name....don't remember the name....but when i find out what it is again i'll let u all know haha...tasty )  chilled/talked and then had dinner....i had to say it was a pretty good day hanging out with my friend    i hope my friend doesn't think i have a bladder problem.....i don't know why i went to the bathroom like 10 plus times throughout the day...it was like every few seconds i got up and went to the bathroom?!?!?!  i think i drank to much liquids and didn't eat enough food to even it out hahaha  BUT I DON'T HAVE A BLADDER PROBLEM!!!!!

monday:  (even though its not part of the weekend)  went to work and then had monday night volleyball game....once again another loss!!  this sucks!! we haven't won a game yet.....even worst....we haven't won a set yet.......3 games.....3 loses = 9 straight sets beaten.....record: 0-3....boy i hate losing!!!  losing is not good for your health!!   well hopefully we can improve as the season goes on.......

i was just chatting with "someone" (rather not say who, to keep their identity safe) and i found out this person got laid off......i was so shocked by the news!!  it hurt me to know this person was let go!!  i was speechless and felt like it was a joke when i was told the news...someone please pinch me!!  is this a big dream?!?!?!  i just hope they hang in there and everything works out for this person!!

its so true that everything positive around u all happens at once......then out of no where things comes crashing down and everythings seems so shitty!!!!

as for me today i phoned cibc mellon to follow up with regards to the position i had an interview for last week and they said i would recieve a phone call or an e-mail later in the day with a reply.....well....i got an e-mail and basically the e-mail said more waiting.....as i said before its like a big tease....life is teasing me right now!!

its really funny how life can treat u sometimes.......its like the world is just teasing u.......u want it but u just can't get your hands on it.....if u do grab onto it, it just slowly slips away....then ur felt with nothing.....what does this happen?!?!?!

October 25th!!  coed volleyball league will start for me!!!  that date is circled on my calendar...for the first time since grade 8 i'm gonna be playing organized indoor volleyball....i have played normal beach/indoor volleyball for fun after grade 8 but there was no prize to look forward too, till now....i want to WIN WIN WIN!!!    i hate to lose...i don't even know what the prize is but i want to WIN....a few friends have organized a team for MRSC volleyball league....oh i can't wait!!!  7 games of regular season play followed by three playoff...the level of play is intermediate with over hand serves and spiking allowed....hopefully i can help my team to a better record then what they had last year.......i'm aiming for my team to finish in the top 3 when the 7 regular season are done.....my team still doesn't have a name but my captain has called our team TME....for now is stands for TOO MANY ERIC(a)'s and also TMW...TOO MANY WONG's....if anyone knows a name that goes with TME or TMW please let me know!!!!

i just had my big interview yesterday afternoon...boy was i nervous!!!  but the good news is i got through it...whether i got the position is another story...as i always say to one of my good friend's: "stay positive and be confident!"  i gotta start listening to myself...overall i thought the interview went well...i know it didn't go bad since i wasn't crying when i came out of the interview haha  the HR personnel that was interviewing me said i would find out if i got the position by next Thursday/Friday...so either next week i'll be super happy or else i'm gonna be cursing at everyone i see!!!

after my interview when i was walking out of the building i saw a famous person...guess who it was??  no it wasn't Jessica Alba....i only wish!!! haha  second hint: this person is an athlete, if that helps...and no it wasn't Anna Kournikova....once again i only wish!!!  is was Toronto Raptors very own...drum roll please.............................no not Vince Carter......it was Milt Palacio.....ok so Milt Palacio might not be as big as the previous names haha...if u don't know him he's a backup guard for the raptors...and no i didn't ask for his autograph but i did say "thanks" since he opened the door for me....wow i'm moving up in life!! i'm having pro athletes open doors for me now...i'm livin' it up now!! lol
